My Dream Headboard (Check!)
I've been dreaming about this headboard since the first time I saw it, but who would pay $3899?!? No way I could ever afford that! I checked Horchow's website today and found it on sale so I ordered it! I cannot wait to get it!!! I am very excited about this one!

ReplyDeleteYou asked about the paint I used on my headboard. I just used plain ole black and then distressed it really well. I took a red marker and in a few places just made some streaks, if it was too much then I just dry brushed a little black back over it. Then I went over the whole thing with some minwax walnut stain. I just played around until I got a little walnut showing where I had distressed it and it also softened the black a little. I am definitely not a pro, so play with what you want, you can always paint over it. Love that headboard. Hugs, Marty
